Yul Edochie

He is one of the most famous actors in Africa and son of the veteran actor Pete Edochie. Yul bagged a Bachelors Degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Port Harcourt. He is a former Gubernatorial candidate for the Government of Anambra State and has remained one of the top political influencers in Nigeria.

In 2015, the Yul Edochie Academy was opened in Lagos. He launched the film academy as a result of the decline in quality and professionalism of upcoming Nigerian actors and actresses. The academy as stated by him is meant to train the next generation of Nollywood actors and actresses. It is a duty, which he intends to do personally. The academy gives talented people the opportunity to be introduced to the Nigerian Film Industry.
